一 、教材分析
本单元主要是围绕“上学这个交通方式”话题展开，由amy, mike 和mrs smith 早晨在那学校见面时交流如何来学校的这一线索，引出句子：how do you come to school ?usually ,i come on foot …然后通过谈论mr jones受众的照片引出：在美国骑自行车必须带头盔的这一知识。在语音部分要求学生通过听音，跟读的方式礼节句子的升降调规律，为良好的语音，语调的形成打下坚实的基础。教材还设计了许多的活动，让学生通过问卷调查的方式，了解教师和学生是如何来学校的展开对话，通过角色扮演操练所学句型，使学生能在轻松愉快的环境中体会学习语言，运用语言的乐趣。
