Module 1 GREETINGS

一、教学内容分析

本模块的话题是GREETINGS (问候)。在现实生活中,当我们见到老朋友的时候,第一件事都是打招呼,询问一下近况;认识新朋友的时候,更要向别人作自我介绍,或者介绍新朋友相互认识,因此,GREETINGS是孩子们比较熟悉的话题,也是孩子们感兴趣的话题。

刚从二年级上升到三年级的学生,对英语由听说的口语学习要求过渡到听说读写全面要求,比如,对于一开始接触长篇的对话课文教学、认读大量的单词以及尝试在情景中运用句型等具体的目标要求,需要一定的适应过程。

本模块中主要的语言知识点都是有关GREETINGS 的词句,此外还要学习14个字母。对此,教师可以在教学中通过组织形式多样的模拟情景,让学生在情景中理解感知语言,在活泼的英语活动中不断地对本单元的语言知识进行听、说、读的强化训练。对于字母教学,虽然学生在二年级口语课学习中有初步的接触,但对字母的音和形还没有形成很深的印象,而且对字母的正确书写就更是陌生。此外,建议根据课文内的小诗、歌曲等项目的学习,深化学生对GREETINGS相关的词句及字母的全面掌握。

1.词汇:

参考Self-Assessment的要求,红色的词汇要求“四会”掌握,绿色的词汇要求“二会”掌握。同时,以下句型及日常交际用语也要求学生能理解运用: Hello, Mr. Chen. Hi, Zhang Xiaoling.

(通过这个练习,让学生学习课文对话的人物的名字。尽量让学生在这个环节能掌握好各位人物的名字。)

Practice 4: This is xxx.(向他人介绍自己的同位) (板书This is….)

(在以上练习中,让学生联系自己的生活实际,结合本课的一些主要句型,进行操练,能在实践中运用英语,建立说英语的自信心,从口语练习逐步向文字阅读发展英语学习能力和习惯.)

4. 呈现对话(运用金太阳教学软件进行课文呈现)

a) 初听对话,理解对话内容,师生根据课文对话进行问答练习(例如:What’s the boy’s(girl’s) name?\ He’s (She’s) ….) (老师检查学生是否能整体理解课文) b) 再听录音,师生仿照课文对话。

c) 跟读对话,同位或小组分角色朗读。

d) 老师检查课文朗读情况.(邀请个别学生或抽查个别小组朗读部分课文对话内容)

e) 让学生提出自己有疑问的单词或不理解的句子,给予解困.

Development

1.投影出课文对话插图,让学生看图猜一猜对话内容。(初步培养学生的图文结合的阅读能力和习惯)

2.游戏巩固句型What’s your name? My name is…

(运用猜拳的游戏进行,全班同学同时进行。两人猜拳,输的一方要回答猜赢一方的提问What’s your name?然后跟在赢的一方后面再在去结交新朋友。游戏最后看谁的队伍最长,结交的朋友最多。)

3. 小组就各自组里的组员的名字,仿照课文对话,并尝试表演。

(本环节老师不需要学生能说很多,其目的只在于了解学生的学习掌握程度,建立学生学习的自信心,老师要关注学生的学习差异性,也做到尊重每个学生的学习能力和允许弱势学生需要时间去消化知识的要求。)

降低难度,效果较好。也因为是第一课时,学生的学习兴趣高,所以老师在教授课文的同时应注重学生的学习积极性,培养学生学习的浓厚的学习兴趣,不要太过急于要学生会朗读单词,拼读单词甚至记忆单词。
