  教材分析:本单元是第四模块的第10单元,谈论的话题是Great inventions.Listen and say栏目是主要学习内容,课文以讨论四大发明为话题,呈现了新授和复现的句型。本单元出现了除了新授单词外,还复习了以前学习的一些句型:People can tell the time anywhere.

  What are you going to invent?

  I’m going to invent a flying bike!

  One day,they are watching some birds flying in the sky.

  We should invent a flying machine!

  学情分析:除了新单词,学生们已学的句型在本课有复现。但因为课文对话较长,需要多读才能上口并且读得流利。本单元的话题容易激起学生对古代文明的兴趣。学生非常喜欢接受。

  在课前我花费了几分钟时间情景会话,谈论了古代的一些伟大发明,激发学生开口说的欲望。让学生要注意知识之间的内在联系,只有我们注意发现并重视这些知识内在的联系,才能在设计课的时候,真正发挥它起到的层次性、连续性的作用。本课在听了多遍录音之后,主要是利用情景会话来巩固和运用所学新知识。孩子们就此话题进行了较激烈的讨论。孩子们寓教于乐,教学效果很好。
