上午阅读了前两天在新华书店特价柜精心挑选的<80天环游世界>。这本书的名字可真有趣，80天怎么可能去完成环游地球呢!这是一件不可能的事!
这本书的主人公是福克先生和他的仆人路路通。书中写到:福克先生和他俱乐部的工程师安得露·斯图亚特、银行家约翰·苏里万和撒木耳·法郎丹、啤酒商多马斯·弗拉纳和英国国家银行副总裁高杰·弱夫打赌说他要用80天环游世界。当时我还以为他好面子，是说着玩玩的，不是真的要去，但是我却没有想到他真的开始了环游世界的旅途。
他和路路通的这次旅行也不是那么顺利的，他们遇到了许许多多的困难……
在这许许多多困难面前，他们发挥他们的聪明才智，勇敢地面对并克服种种困难，最后成功地终于完成了这个“不可能完成的任务”。
这应该说是一本“地球”的传记，书很薄，但内容相当充实，包括作者思想历程等等，即便是第一次看这本书的人也会对它产生浓厚的兴趣，而且还出现了几个在课文中学到过的几个城市。虽然我还没有全面完整地了解地球、了解世界，但是通过这本书我可以更多更全面地认识地球、接触世界。

这个寒假，我读了许多的书。其中，有一本书的名字叫<环游世界八十天>。它是一本科幻小说。科幻小说是西方近代文学的一种新体裁。它的情节不可能发生在人们已知的世界上，但它的基础是有关人类或宇宙起源的某种设想，有关科技领域(包括假设性的科学领域)的某种虚构出来的新发现。
19世纪末，20世纪初，欧洲出现了两位重要的小说家，法国的儒勒·凡尔纳和英国的赫伯特·乔治·威尔斯。其中一位——本书的作者——儒勒·凡尔纳——出生于航海世家的这位法国人，最初是迫于生计才投入小说创作的。凡尔纳的作品继承了冒险小说的一切特点:不可思议的个人冒险、异域风情(如<环游世界八十天>)；神秘的人物(如<尼莫船长>)等。
八十天能环游地球吗?由于书本题目的吸引，我只用了一天半就读完了这本书，对故事中的福格先生深感佩服。

这位英国绅士与朋友打赌，说只要八十天，他就能环游地球，并以自己在巴林氏兄弟 那儿的的两万英镑作为赌注。他在旅行中遇到了许多意想不到的困难:恶劣天气、交通事故、强盗打劫列车等等。面对这些，福格先生镇定自若、应付自如，处处表现出他的绅士风度和坚毅果断、乐于助人的品格。他与仆人路路通冒着生命危险，从狂躁的本得尔坎德士邦人手中救下为土王殉葬的美丽的艾达夫人。艾达夫人到达英国后，深深地爱上了这个外表冷漠、内心善良而富有侠义精神的绅士。后来福格先生以为自己输掉了这场赌注，其实是时差跟他开了一个“玩笑”——在旅途过程中，他们因向东出发而不知不觉为自己赢得了24小时的时间——于是，福格先生赢得了最终的胜利。在获得胜利的同时，他也获得了艾达夫人对他的爱。
