尊敬的各位评委好!我是来自江口中学的余博。我抽到的内容是人教新目标2012版英语八年级下册第三单元Could you please clean your room?的第一课时。 下面,我将从教材、教法、学法、教学过程四方面来说课。

一、教材分析

1、教学内容在本单元所处的位置

本单元主题聚焦在家庭生活上,谈论家务琐事和家庭互助。家庭生活是学生生活的重要组成部分,对学生行为习惯的养成及责任感的建立起着重要的作用。因此,从话题角度上看,这一单元在本学期以及整个初中阶段的教学中具有特殊的地位和重要性。作为本单元的第一课时,主要任务是通过学生主动的学习和探究,掌握六个与家务劳动有关的短语,并能使用“Could you please do sth...?”这一句型有礼貌地提出请求。话题贴近学生生活,容易调动起学生的好奇心和求知欲,有利于引导他们自主学习。同时,潜移默化地对学生进行了礼仪教育和感恩教育,于教学之中体现了情感态度和德育目标。

2、教学目标

根据本单元的教学目标以及八年级学生的认知特点,并结合学生的学习、生活实际,本课时的教学目标为以下几点:

知识目标:认识并熟练运用有关家务的短语clean the living room,sweep the floor,make the bed ,fold the clothes,do the dishes,掌握take out the rubbish。掌握并准确应用目标语言:Could you please...?来表达礼貌的请求。

能力目标:通过听、说、读、写等语言交际活动,提高学生全方位运用英语的能力。鼓励学生踊跃参加课堂活动,大胆地用英语表达自己。通过小组活动锻炼学生的团队合作能力。

情感价值目标:在人际交往中学会使用礼貌用语,提高自身修养。帮助学生树立主动承担家务的意识,渗透对父母的爱与感恩,做一个有家庭和社会责任感的新时代青少年。

3、教学重点难点

本课时的教学重点为学习和掌握有关家务劳动的短语并能实际运用在语境中。难点为“Could you please do sth...?”表示礼貌请求的疑问句的实际运用。

二、教法分析

教学中主要采用听说法、视听法、情景交际法、角色扮演法、课堂互动法等学习策略,利用多媒体课件来展开课堂,通过Pairwork问答式的口语交际活动来谈论如何礼貌提问。在教学过程中,关注学生的情感,营造宽松、民主的教学氛围,建立融洽、和谐的师生交流渠道。努力创设英语语言学习情境,设计贴近学生实际的教学活动,以听、说、读、写为主线,将学生置于交谈和学习的语境,发挥学生的主观能动性,在培养学生的能力上下功夫,鼓励学生创造性发挥,调动他们的学习积极性。培养学生的合作精神,提高他们的口语表达能力和学习英语的积极性。

三、学法分析

英语新课标把“培养学生学习英语的兴趣,树立自信心,培养良好学习习惯和形成有效策略,发展自主学习和合作精神”放在了首位。这就要求教师在教学过程中,要努力调动学生的学习兴趣,营造一种开放的、和谐的、积极互动的语言氛围,把课堂变成有声有色的舞台,使学生变被动学习为主动参与和互动学习,尽量让学生自己动口、动手、动脑,体验成功的快乐,从而不断地提高学习积极性和主动性。围绕教学重点,并结合本课时学习内容以及学生实际,在课堂上经过教师创设真实语境,学生自主探究、交流讨论、合作体验等方式,帮助学生逐步突破重、难点。让学生通过自己的观察、倾听来认知新知识,调动各方面感官搜集信息,并通过师生互动、生生互动等双边语言活动,达到综合运用的目的,实现语言交流与沟通的功能。

四、教学过程

1.创设情境,导入新课,呈现新知。引导学生观察教室,开门见山地引入目标句型Could you please....?请求学生帮助,并鼓励他们给出答语。在此过程中,不仅呈现了新知,并且温习了有关家务的短语,有利于消除学生的畏难情绪。然后通过询问Do you often do chores at home? 自然地过渡到新短语的学习。

2.词汇学习,句型操练。利用多媒体调动学生感官,谈论本班同学以及外国小朋友做家务的图片,不仅学习了词汇,而且巧妙地渗透了情感教育。通过发音类似的旧单词学习新单词,并且不把它们割离开来,而是在句型的运用中反复操练,达到四会的目的。

3.学生讨论,互动游戏,熟练词汇。同桌讨论各自承担家务的情况,全班游戏评选出“最能干的小帮手”,能够熟练使用新词并深入到情感教育。

4.听力练习,熟悉会话情境。检查时注意让学生用完整的句子,把它作为操练语言的过程而非单纯的填充答案。

5.创设家庭生活的情境,鼓励学生合作编排对话,分角色表演,从而突破难点,达到运用语言的目的。通过教师给出的场景,同桌互相练习检查掌握情况。再循序渐进地过渡到学生自由组合,模拟一段家庭生活的实况,真正达到掌握所学语言并能在合适的语境中使用的目的。

6.课堂小结。总结本节课所学知识,尤其是对目标句型的概括和浓缩,达到从表象到实质的突破。

7.课后作业。通过帮助父母做家务并写日记这一开放性的课后作业,拓展学生写的能力,升华情感教育。

1 教材的地位和作用

本单元围绕“Chores”开展教学活动,学习如何用情态动词could礼貌地提出请求,如何礼貌地请求允许自己做某事,并做出得体的回答;学习如何写留言条以请求他人的帮助。本课内容是本单元的第一课时,主要任务是讲解一些与家务有关的短语如do the dishes, fold the clothes等等,其次便是引出Could you please/Could I please„?句型。要求学生通过自我评估和个性化的学习,进一步熟悉有关日常生活、社交礼仪等方面的话题,在实际生活中较熟练地运用英语进行沟通。

二 学生学情分析

本课话题来自学生的生活经历,学生在七年级已经学习了许多动词短语,为表达提供了语言基础。此外学生已初步掌握了用祈使句 和Can you„?/ Can I „? 提出请求和建议,为本课学习打下了基础。活动设计的话题从谈论家务---视频观看---谁是最勤快的孩子----任务活动等生活的各个方面,各任务层层递进,与学生的生活紧密相连,又是学生较感兴趣的内容,为表达提供了真实的材料,使得学生在各个活动中想说、有话说,使活动参与的范围广,达到任务的真实性,有效性。在学习中学生受到爱的教育,学会如何与人交往,学会表达自己对事情的看法,使他们的个性得到张扬。

四 教学过程

1导入

本课以童话故事《灰姑娘》作为导入,在听故事之前展示关于灰姑娘的图片,并留下问题“灰姑娘和我们的新课文有什么联系呢?”学生带着问题听老师讲故事并得到答案,因为灰姑娘每天都必须做很多家务。以此来引出我们的Chores的话题。

(设计思路:用配插图讲故事作导入可以吸引学生注意力,引起学生的学习兴趣,而且灰姑娘的故事和我们的新课程内容有联系,是一个有意义的导入。另外,英语故事可以营造出一个英语学习的氛围。) 2新短语呈现

使用PPT直观呈现新短语。图片和短语相结合

(设计思路:用图片直观的和新短语联系起来,使新短语形象化,立体化。方便学生记忆。)

3猜猜她在做什么?

给出一张图片,并用红色圆形遮挡住图中人物正在做的家务,让学生猜猜她在做什么。

(设计思路:这是一个考验学生观察力和记忆力的小游戏,可以激起学生的好胜心,把学生从枯燥的单词学习中解放出来。通过游戏,寓教于乐。)

4谁最能干――调查报告

把学生分小4人一小组,采访彼此在家都做哪些家务活,然后由组员共同评选出组内最勤快的人,最后我会邀请几位同学到讲台上来做一个报告。

(设计思路:这个活动可以使课堂气氛活跃起来,大家踊跃的在小组间发表自己的意见,营造出一个轻松的学习氛围。同时还可以锻炼学生说的能力和合作能力。初步达到理解父母辛劳的情感目标。) 5语法导入

表扬刚才做报告的学生和全班学生,并引出自己小时候因为不做家务而被妈妈强行要求的经历。并给出三个不同的句子Clean your

room,Amy! Can you clean your room, Amy? Could you please clean your room, Amy? 让学生找出这个句子的不同之处,自然而然的得出第三个句子最礼貌的结论。

(设计思路:由老师的亲身经历引出三个不同的句子,更能引起学生的共鸣。学生通过自己朗读来发现三个句子的不同之处,突出学生的主体地位,增强学生的自信心。)

6语法讲解

给出一个对话,让学生自己先总结我们今天所要讲解的语法知识,然后引导着他们得出Could you please„? Yes, I can. / No I can’t. Could I „? Yes, sure.的结论。然后再给他们2分钟时间创造出自己的对话。

(设计思路:呈现语法过程由易到难,老师只是为一个引导者,而不是一个灌输者。学生在老师的指导下一步步的发现并总结出语法规则。让学生感受到自己在课堂上的主人翁地位,提高学生的自主学习能力。)

7任务活动

假设你的阿姨要来学校看你,但是你的房间特别乱,而且刚好你有许多的作业要做,所以你没有时间打扫房间。这时候,你必须找到一个朋友愿意帮你打扫房间。

(设计思路:老师给出一个情景任务,锻炼学生解决任务的能力。这同时也模拟出了一个真实的社交场景,让学生活学活用,把学到的新短语和语法用到实际生活中来解决问题。进一步巩固知识。)

(说课稿) good morning, judges. it’s my great pleasure to be here to share my teaching ideas with all of you. the lesson i’m going to talk about is from unit11“could you please clean your room?” in go for it for the students of grade 8. i will analyze the lesson from six parts: analysis of teaching material, student analysis, teaching methods, studying ways, teaching steps and blackboard design.

part one : analysis of teaching material

first, i’d like to show my understanding of teaching material which includes 5 aspects.

1. status and function

the title of this unit is “could you please clean your room?”, and the topic is about chores. it mainly talks about making polite requests and asking for permissions. i divided this unit into five periods, and today i’d like to talk about the first period of this unit. if students can learn it well, it will be helpful for the students to learn the rest of this unit. besides, such topic is related to students’ daily life, so it can raise students’ learning interest and improve students’ spoken english. in this lesson, students will learn some new words and phrases about chores and learn to make polite requests and ask for permission by using modal verb “could”.

2. teaching aims

according to the teaching material and the new curriculum of english, i hope the following aims can be achieved in this lesson.

a knowledge aims

1) by the end of the class, students should master the key words and phrases of this lesson: do the chores, do the dishes, sweep the floor, etc

2) students should master the key structures:

could you please take out the trash?

sure

could i borrow the car?

sorry, but i need it. i have to go to a meeting.

b ability aims

1) to improve students’ ability of listening and speaking.

in my class, i’ll treat my students as real masters. i’ll adopt communication strategy to create situations to make the students participate and learn by doing.

as we know, the students in the junior school are very active, they want to show themselves but they can’t focus on the class for a long time. but some of them lose interest in learning english, so when i design my class, i have to pay attention to make my class lively and interesting and design more activities to attract their attention.

let’s come to the third part, teaching methods. to achieve the teaching aims above, i adopt task—based teaching method and communicative

approach in my class as for learning. since students are the real masters in my class, student-centered teaching method will be used in my class. part four: studying ways

step 1 warming-up

i will lead in my class by having a free talk with students like this: what do you usually do at home?

then i will introduce the question: do you often help your parents with the chores?

it’s a natural way to introduce the content of this lesson and let them start to touch what they’ re going to learn.

step 2 learn new words

1. i will use cai to present some different chores to and ask students to answer this question: what is he/ she doing?

he is doing the dishes.

he is taking out the trash.

by using this way, i will teach them other phrases of chores. multimedia can make learning content more lively and specific. it can raise students’ learning interest.

2. then i will ask students to play a game. first, i will let the students write the phrases on a card. then turn it over. let their partner guess what they wrote by using the structure: do you want me to do the dishes? this task is to consolidate what they learnt and let them enjoy the happiness of learning english.

step3 1a

i will get students to ask the questions like this : do you do the dishes at home?

i will divide them into groups of four and let students to write down their survey result and report it to the class.

this task is to consolidate the key phrases they learnt.

step4 presentation

first, i’ll point to the sample conversation in the book. ask students to read it aloud. it’s a natural way to introduce the key structures and lay foundation for the next step.

then, i will ask students to complete activity 1b.before listening, i will give students some skills on listening. i will tell them you needn’t understand every sentence and you just need to pay attention to the chores and the answer. then i will play the tape. later check the answers with students. after that, ask students turn to p90and read the listening material.

this task is to train student’s listening ability and help students have a good pronunciation. and it will help them consolidate the key structures. step5 practice 1c

first, i will ask two students to read the sample conversation. then point to the picture and let them work in pairs to practice their own

conversation. while they practicing, i will walk around the classroom and offer help to them if necessary. according to their response, i will ask 5 pairs to present their conversations. other students just listen and judge their performance. i’ll give 3 stars for the best pair. step 6 2a. 2b

read the instructions to the students and make sure they know what to do. i will tell them to pay attention to the key words. then i will play the tape for three times. for the first time students only listen. for the second time, they should complete 1a. for the third time, i will ask students to complete 2b. later, check the answers. after that, i will ask students to read the listening material after the tape. i will cultivate their ability of listening and let them be familiar with the key structures. step 7 pairwork

in this step, students are going to do a pair work. first, i will ask 2 students to read the sample conversation. then let them work in pairs to practice their own conversations. this task is to train students’ ability of speaking and using the key words and structures in the real situation.

step 8 summary

i will make a brief summary with all the students about what we learnt in this period and they should remember as following: we should learn to care about others and be polite.

step9 homework

task1: review what we learnt in this period and recite

task2: practice the dialogue with partner.

part six: blackboard design

二.学情分析

本节课授课对象是八年级学生,学生在sectionA部分对有关家务劳动的话题已经接触过,已经掌握了相关的家务劳动的短语,以及如何做出礼貌的请求和征询许可的句型。对于孩子是否应该做家务劳动这个观点学生应该有话可说,但不知如何使用英语去表达,因此带着这个问题去学习使他们充满了了期待。

三.教学方法

1.教法 主要采用任务阅读法。让学生主动参与阅读来获取信息。略读和查读 ,这也是本节课着重训练的一项阅读策略。

2.学法 自主阅读,带任务读并查找信息方法

小组合作,讨论观点及看法。

四.教学流程

StepI Greeting&Lead-in

1. Free talk “自由交际”

1) Make conversations like this:(复习前面学过的礼貌的提出请求和征询许可) —Could you please do sth.?

—Yes, I can.

—Could I do sth.?

—Sorry, you can’t.

2. Leading-in“导入新课”

(1) Talk about whether they should help their parents do chores.(先问他们在家是否做家务,做哪些家务,引出家务劳动,及复习了表示家务劳动的词汇及短语,又 为后面的观点做好了铺垫)

(2) Discuss the questions with your partner, and answer the following questions:

1) What do you often do to help your parents at home?

2) Do you think kids should help out with chores at home?(让学生说出自己的观点,带着这一疑问来读两封信。)

stepII. Presentation呈现

1,Skimming(略读)

Skim the two letters. Which one agrees and which one disagrees?(初步感知,判断观点)

2. Listen&mark T or F。(对语音语调断句及生词的发音对照,同时带着任务,判断句子的陈述是否符合文章)

3.Second-reading .

Read the two letters carefully and find what are the pros and cons about kids doing

4. 朗读 (Loud Reading)

1) Read the passage by themselves.

2) 使用“学案”中“自主探究”部分的内容,体验语法以及语言知识点的使用方法。

①Kids these days have enough stress from school.现在的孩子拥有来自学校的足够多的心里负担。

stress是名词,意思为“精神压力;心里负担”。

例如:He’s too tired because of too much stress.

由于太多的压力他非常劳累。

②They should spend their time on schoolwork in order to get good grades and get into a good university.他们应该用在学习上取得好成绩考入一个好大学。(教材第22页)

spend„on/(in) doing sth,意思为“花费„„在/做„„”。例如:

他花了十元钱买了这本书。

He spent ten yuan on the book.

He spent ten yuan (in) buying the book.

③ I don’t mind doing them.做他们(家务)我不介意。(教材第22页)

mind是动词,意思为“介意”,后常跟名词、代词或动名词形式。

I don’t mind it.我不介意。

Would you mind turning down the music?

你介意关小音乐吗?
