Teaching Aims:

1. Be able to listen, speak, read the words: colourful, pretty, cheap, and expensive.

2. Be able to talk about the colours, price and style: It’s expensive/ colourful/ pretty/ cheap.

3. Be able to chant the rhyme well.

Teaching Steps:

1. Warm –up.

a. Free talk

Ask some questions like the following:

T: What’s the weather like today?

Ss: It’s cloudy and warm.

T: Can you wear your sweater?

Ss: No, I can’t.

b. Let’s chant. Mmm, It’s warm today.

2. Preview.

Let’s chant: My shirt is red. My jacket is blue…. Try to present the new words in a

natural way.

3. Presentation.

Let’s learn.

(1) Draw different clothes with nice colors on the blackboard. Ask:

What’s this? It’s a dress/ jacket/skirt.

Look at this skirt. What colour is it? Is it pretty? /colourful? How much is? Is it expensive/cheap/big/long/small/short?

Help the Ss to answer them.

Present the new words with the help of the real objects.

(2) Show them the flash cards, to listen and repeat the new words: colourful, pretty, cheap, and expensive.

(3) Play a game.

a. I say cheap, Ss say expensive, or on the opposite.

b. Cheap or expensive?

Tell Ss that more than 80 is expensive, less than 79 is cheap. Put the price on the bag, pen, pencil, books, clothes, Ss see the price, then say It’s cheap/expensive. To see who can see the fastest.

(4) Listen and repeat.

Let Ss listen to tape recorder, repeat aloud.

Then help Ss to say these following sentences: Look at that … It’s… I want to buy it. It’s…yuan.

(5) Extension.

Use the real objects to show Ss a dialogue like this:

A: Can I help you?

B: Yes, I ‘d like a pen.

A: Look at that pen. Is it nice?

B; Yes, it’s pretty. I like it

How much is it?

A: It’s 2 yuan.

B: Oh, it’s cheap. I want buy it.

A: Here you are.

Get Ss to make more dialogues using the words and expressions.

(5) Listen and chant in groups.

Unit 6单元教材分析

单元学习内容

本单元的基本内容是让学生学习有关去商店购物的一些单词和句子,如单词:nice, pretty, cheap, expensive,sunglasses, unmbrella, gloves, scarf. 句型:---How much is it? ---It’s … Look at ... It’s pretty.等等。

三会单词:colourful, pretty, cheap, expensive,

句型:---How much is it? ---It’s … yuan.

单元学习目标

1.知识与技能

(1) 能听、说、认读单词:nicel, pretty, cheap, expensive, sunglasses, unbrella,scarf,gloves.并能在句子中运用。

(2)能够正确使用上述单词介绍衣着并描述价格。

(3) 能在实际情景中询问价格“How much is it / are they?”并做回答“It’s… / They are…”

(4)能够在情境中运用句型How do you like...? 询问对某商品的价格。

(5) 复习er,ir, al, or, ur,ar,le的发音规则。

(6)能够填充短语或者句子,做到书写规范。

(7) 通过学习本单元能以得体的方式与人交际, 创设购物环境,用英文购物。

学习重点:学习有关衣服和鞋子的大小、价格和款式。

学习难点:在具体的语境中询问有关衣服和鞋子的价格、大小及其合适与否。 单元内容学情分析

学生在第五单元已经学习过关于衣服的单词及简单描述衣服的大小,颜色。本单元在此基础上增加了价格,款式等的表述学习并增加了关于鞋子的分类。。并以购物为话题进行真实情景的应用。值得注意的是在话题描述中单复数的应用。 课时安排

Unit 6第一课时:A Let’s learn

课标与教材分析 A Complete and say

本课时由Let’s learn和Complete and say两部分组成。Let’s learn中有4个有关商店的物品的单词和两个重点功能句型,教材设计的这些场所是学生比较熟悉的,因此有助于学生理解并掌握;通过Complete and say活动,让学生复习第五单元所学的有关衣服的单词,同时激发学生学习英语的兴趣。英语课程在目标设定、教学过程、课程评价和教学资源的开发等方面都突出以学生为主体的思想。课程实施应成为学生在教室指导下构建知识、提高技能、磨砺意志、活跃思维、展现个性、发展心智和拓展视野的过程

学情分析

本节课学习关于个人生活用品的单词,学生在原有的基础上学习,会非常感兴趣,利用已学句型Can I help you? 学习新的单词,并通过Complete and say 复习第五单元所学的有关衣服的单词,结合新学习的单词,创设语境让学生学起来事半功倍

教学目标

一、知识技能目标

1. 能听、说、认读单词:sunglasses, scarf, gloves, umbrella.

2. 能熟练运用句型:Can I help you? The gloves are nice. Can I try them on? Sure.来对本节课单词进行模拟购物。

3. 了解知识点:可数名词的复数形式,如:gloves,sunglasses等等。

4. 语篇提升:Can I help you? The gloves are nice. Can I try them on ? Sure. How much is it? It’s 20 yuan. OK, we’ll take them.

二、情感态度目标

通过学习学生比较喜欢的话题,进一步提高学生学习英语的兴趣,在小组合作过程中,培养学生团结协作的精神。

说唱做演,激情引趣

(一)歌曲、歌谣中情绪热身

师生齐唱课本第54页歌曲“This old hat”。

(二)复习旧知中知识热身

学生两人一组上台表演第58页Let’s talk的对话。

(三)评价分组中注意力热身

四人一组,准备一张画有一个晾衣架的白纸。奖品为衣服卡片,贴在晾衣架上。

二、呈现(Presentation)(此环节用时10分钟)

(一)话题交流,导入新课

T: John ,where will you go to play?

John: I will go to the USA. What;s the weather like in the USA now?

T: It’s winter in the USA now. It’s cold.

(二)情景创设,理解词意

1. T: What do they need for cold weather? Can you make a list? 学生分小组讨论并列出清单。

2.各小组列出清单并展示,教师适时呈现gloves和scarf 的单词卡片并带读。

3.图片呈现不同颜色的手套和围巾图片,引导学生说:

The _____ gloves are nice .

The _____ scarf is nice.

同桌创编购买手套和围巾的对话。

4.T: Two students are coming to Beijing. They are from Australia. They want to know about the weather .What’s the weather like in Beijing now?

引导学生回答:It’s hot.

T:So what do they need? Can youmake a list for them?学生分小组讨论并列出清单。

5.根据清单适时出示sunglasses和umbrella的单词卡片。

同桌创编对话。

(三)句中练习,领读词卡

1. 巩固单词记忆,学生看课件跟读单词。教师领读,男生女生读,分排、分行、分组读等多种方式相结合,让学生在角色转换和反复训练中加深对词汇的感知。

三、练习(Practice)(此环节用时10分钟)

(一)跟读模仿,听做强化

1. 跟读录音,男女生分角色问答练习,强化模仿。

2.教师逐一出示单词图片,让图片他图片贴在相应的单词旁边并朗读单词。

(二)游戏巩固,任务落实

Game: 大显身手

屏幕上会出现一些单词和图片,当单词和图片一致时,大声读出这个单词;当单词和图片不一致时,说 “Uh-oh.”

【设计意图】通过练习对所学知识进行复习巩固,让学生在任务落实中完成由输入语言到输出语言的转变过程

四、拓展(Extension)(此环节用时10分钟)

(一)活动运用,语篇提升

1. 任务活动:完成Complete and say 板块的活动

2.学生四人一组,拿出已学衣物类单词的单词卡片,按照季节将卡片分为四类。每名学生选取一个季节的服饰卡片,选择一个恰当的城市,播报天气预报,如:

(二)总结赏析,情感升华

我们在不同的季节要穿不同衣服,要注意冷暖交替,适当的增减衣服,避免感冒。
