浅谈冀教版初中英语新教材的使用心得 作者：田星艳

深入教材方知教材“别有洞天”，新教材投入使用三个学期了，我有幸坐上第一班车，教过了这三本新书，感悟颇多，虽然不成熟，但是总结一些心得，希望对自己和同仁多少有所帮助。
一、内容全面更新，注重工具性和人文性
冀教版初一起点版，初一内容是对小学五六年级知识的简单重复，对优等生来说可提升空间少，而初二内容难度跨度又有点大。新版教科书体系完整，选材上更贴近学生生活和中国国情。
比如，七年级下册Unit 1 The Silk Road向学生系统介绍丝绸之路的起点——中国西安的一些著名的建筑物：Big Wild Goose Pagoda大雁塔、Terra Cotta Warrior 兵马俑、Drum Tower 鼓楼、Bell Tower钟楼，接着以人物活动游历主要站点，Mogao Caves敦煌莫高窟、黄河第一桥兰州中山大桥、黄河母亲像等以及中国源远流长的历史文化，激发了学生的表达需求和爱国情操。
初二的课本新添且改编了部分课文，比如，lesson 14，Happy Memories讲家庭聚会的幸福时光，教育孩子从内心体会家庭生活的幸福。lesson 32和lesson 33讲到了火车的发展史和蒸汽机促进车轮的使用等方面内容，对拓展学生眼见，丰富英语课程分支提供了更广泛的内容。Lesson 45 Be Yourself！对解决当前学生心理困惑，培养自信心有着实实在在的指导作用。比如，“Nobody is perfect in this world.Look in the mirror and smile at yourself every day ！Don’t be too hard on yourself for making mistakes.The important thing is to learn from your mistakes.”这些句子都是励志书里最常见的句子。
课文以多种文体呈现，有对话、网络在线聊天、课题报告、微博等形式，语言趣味性强、涉及话题广泛、内容鲜活、符合时代特点贴近学生生活，同时展现了中西方国家的不同文化背景。口语与书面表达并重，语境真实，语言灵活，特别有利于语感的培养。
二、详细、全面的语音教学参考
结合《义务教育英语课程标准》的要求反思自己的教学，本着为学生未来学习发展服务的理念，我认为在初一基础阶段一定要强化语音教学，进行系统规范的语音教学。近年来，中考淡化了语音考点，旧版教材中也没有统一详细的语音教学材料。
但新教材其后的附录比旧版多了重音和语调，这样连同七年级上册的国际音标、元音字母和常见元音字母组合的发音规则，七年级下册的辅音字母和常见辅音字母组合的发音规则，八

Danny: I don’t know. I wanted to talk to Sandra, but I didn’t know how to begin.

冀教版英语新旧教材之我见

冀教版《英语》（衔接三年级起点）这套英语教材是根据《英语课程标准》编写的从小学到高中的一套完整的英语教材。这套教材的最大特点是内容丰富，信息量大，题材贴近学生的学习和生活，学习活动丰富有趣。教材强调语言的多输入，多接触，并提供多样的语言实践活动，鼓励学生多参与，敢冒险。通过多种生动有趣的活动，使英语学习变得“容易又有趣”。2003版为我们所使用的第一版，随后逐年都有稍加调整，2011版改动较大，在此仅以2003版与2011版为比较。
2003冀教版英语教材，给人耳目一新的感觉，简洁文字搭配生动鲜活的图片，不仅让学生们，也让教师有了一个新鲜的体验，同一教材包括教科书、活动手册、教师用书、录音带。2003版教材以话题为主线，每一单元都有一个明确的话题，例如，Know Our World（八年级第二学期）， Biggest， Longest， Widest（九年级第一学期），每单元围绕基本的、常用的英语词汇、句型、交际会话等，逐步展开教学内容和实践活动。教材注意对学生综合语言能力的培养和训练，强调以学生为主体的有意义的语言实践活动，为教学营造了轻松愉快、积极向上的学习氛围。此外教材还在教学中安排了大量生动有趣的活动内容，使英语学习变得有趣又容易。这套教材语言信息量大、话题广泛、内容鲜活，富有时代感，例如，The Olympics 单元，及时更新了奥运会的内容，既贴近生活，又展现了中西方的文化差异。尤其是活动手册的设计，丰富了练习的形式，也兼顾了不同层次学生的需求，其中教材中大篇的阅读篇目内容精炼，文化背景知识丰富，为许多师生所喜爱。教师用书则为教学提供了详实具体的教学建议。教材在七、八年级中每学期八单元，每单元七篇课文，一篇复习总结科目，九年级每学期六单元，每单元也是七篇课文，一篇复习总结科目。至八年级起，课文内容明显加长，难度加深，活动手册的练习题对学生也是一个巨大的考验，对学生的认知度产生巨大的挑战，差距也由此拉开。七、八年级课时紧张，一天一篇新课文，几轮上下来，总感到课堂很紧张，几乎没有喘息的机会，加之词汇量大，课时进度要求与学生实际掌握的速度很难达成正比，导致在八年级时两极分化加大，阅读材料的增长，导致听力、口语训练薄弱。到九年级，许多学生英语成绩基本定型，基础较弱的同学明显跟不上。
衔接版的教材，也还包括教科书、活动手册、教师用书、录音带。这套教材的语言信息量大，尤其在Culture Tip， Dig In， Learning Tip等板块中，对中西方所涉及的文化、背景、策略、知识等方面做出了大量的扩展，设计话题广泛，内容鲜活，既贴近学生生活，又展现了中西方国家的不同文化背景。2011年教材的改版，在许多方面都有所改进，更加突出了衔接小学为起点的初中英语教材，这就要求学生在小学的英语学习要扎实。改版之后的教材仍然是以任务为中心的语言学习，采用完成课题式的教学方法，把探究性学习引入外语学习中，使学生主动融入创造性的、有意义的整体语言学习中。教材在培养学生语言能力的同时，注重学科知识交叉，适当引入了其它学科的内容。衔接版教材加大了听力训练，在每课时的课堂教学中都有明确的听力训练要求（旧版只在《活动手册》中有明确的听力练习要求），《活动手册》中
