一、指导思想与理论依据
《英语课程标准》对于课程基本理念指出：现代外语教育注重语言学习的过程，强调语言学习的实践性，主张学生在语境中接触、体验和理解真实的语言，并在此基础上学习和运用语言。英语课程提倡采用既强调语言学习过程又有利于提高学生学习成效的语言教学途径和方法，尽可能多地为学生创造在真实语境中运用语言的机会。
因此在本节课的设计上，老师通过创设各种真实情景，给予一定的任务，让学生使用语言解决问题。
二、教学背景分析
教材分析：本课选自《新标准英语》六年级下册，第四模块第一单元的第一课时，属新授
课。教材主要教学内容是说明场景、寻求帮助。第一单元的课文情境是Simon 的妈妈去超市买东西，为Daming准备生日聚会。她买了很多东西，就问Daming和Simon 谁能来帮忙拿。Simon 无法帮忙，因为他正在打电话。Daming跑来帮忙，结果不小心将橘子撒了一地，气球也飞走了。Simon让大家看气球上的文字，气球们在祝福Daming 生日快乐。大家开心地笑了。
学情分析：六年级的学生已经学了三年的英语， 有了一定的英语基础，但学生对英语学
习兴趣整体有所下降，两极分化比较严重。另外本班学生的英语基础知识掌握比较扎实， 但学生性格比较内向，不善于表达。所以在设计教学时应该面向全体学生，以学生的发展为宗旨，因材施教，分层教学，始终把激发学生的学习兴趣放在首位，引导学生端正学习态度，掌握良好的学习方法，培养学生良好的学习习惯。尽量采用新颖活泼有趣的教学形式进行教学，保持并提高学生学习英语的兴趣。

Step 1. Warming up 1. Free talk.

【设计意图】通过常规问答拉近与学生的距离，帮助学生进入学习状态，并导入游戏环节。 2. Guessing Game: What did I buy? (ppt 呈现图片，做猜谜游戏)
【设计意图】通过猜谜游戏复习以前学过的食物单词，采用猜谜的方式，既可以帮助学生复习以前的内容，又可以导入到这一课时的学习。让学生在轻松、有趣的参与中不知不觉进入课文情境。
3. Guess “Why I bought so many things?”

【设计意图】通过猜谜游戏，将学生带入情景，引导学生通过猜测，与已有认知建立联系，并导入新课的学习。

【设计意图】课件出示图片，播放课文动画，整体呈现对话，让学生整体感知对话，获取自己需要的关键信息，了解对话大意。

【设计意图】课件出示图片，让学生仔细观察，并且组织恰当的语句进行针对性的提问。活用文本教材，利用文本情境，激活学生的思维，调动学生的主动性和积极性。同时，在全班检查答案的过程中，教师带领学生通过更多的提问和回答梳理了对话脉络并板书，为后面的活动提供语言支持。
T：Daming can help Mum, But what’s happening? Let’s listen and underline the answers. 并且利用课件，感知falling和flying away.并利用书掉了、气球飞走了等，为学生创设真实情境，帮助学生感知理解。
【设计意图】通过不同的呈现方式，吸引学生的注意力，调动学生多种感官，强化记忆、深化理解。在活动中给学生创设真实的情境，为后面的活动提供语言支持。

一、课前准备Preparations：
1、剪辑一段电影，内容是讲述生日宴会之前需要做的准备工作。

二、教学设想 Teaching Plan
第四模块依旧是承接第三模块的现在进行时态，在学习新课文的同时要温习第三模块所学习的进行时的基本结构和重点句型，引出新的知识，培养学生温故知新的能力，通过合作表演等形式，甚至可以在表演中实际制作生日卡片，写生英语祝福，既提高学生学习英语的兴趣，又锻炼其实际应用能力。

Step 1、Warming up (热身练习)
1、Daily Greetings
2、给学生放一小段国外小朋友过生日的视频，然后与学生交流生日的相关准备工作。
T: What are they doing in the film?
S: They are having a birthday party.
T： Do you want to have a birthday party ?
S: Yes.
Step 2、Leading in
同学们我们刚才看过一段视频，在国外每个孩子过生日都会举行一个小的Party，我想你们肯定也想举行这样的Party，可以尽情的和朋友，吃东西，玩闹。那么如果你们要在家里举行生日聚会，肯定需要你爸妈帮你安排和准备，当你爸妈忙不过来的时候，需要你的帮忙，这时候你们应该怎么交流呢，这就是我们今天要学习的内容。请大家认真读一下课文。
Step 3、Presentation(新课呈现)
活动一：学习新句型：
1、让学生读课文，找出课文中的生词和短语，老师写在黑板上，带领学生熟读，然后让学生自己读。如：fly away , balloon ,supermarket , birthday, Careful , fall 等。
2、去教室外面把准备好的书，作业本等杂物抱进教室，做出拿不过来的动作，喊出：Who can help me ? 然后与学生交流学习这个句型的问和答。 T： I can’t carry everything . Who can help me ?
S1: Sorry ,I can’t . I am reading the new words.
S2: I can help you .
T: Thank you .
设计目的是引起学生们的注意，通过日常的小动作，使学生对重点句型的理解更透彻，能够更生动的根据身边的动作进行理解和学习。
3、把学生分成若干小组，以小组合作的方式，共同编演一个小的情景剧，主题为帮忙，然后由老师和其他小组共同打分，评出最好的一组，这个小组可以获得奖励，每人一张写有英语祝福语的卡片。
设计目的是让学生们充分动脑，在活泼热闹的课堂气氛中，充分发挥自己的想象力，结合实际，将英语的实际应用和娱乐结合，在快乐中学会使用这个新的句型。
活动二：学习新单词：
从那一堆杂物里找出若干的气球，向同学们展示，在气球上写几个祝福的字。板书 balloon。
T：This is a balloon , b-a-l-l-o-o-n .

同学们，你们每人都可以吹一个气球，每个气球上都可以写上字，可以自己一个气球写一句话，也可以通过合作的方式，像课文中一样每个气球写一个字，几个人的气球分工好，凑在一起，请注意，要写英文哦。然后把气球按顺序排列抛向空中，进行对话。

设计目的是让学生在玩乐中学习新的单词和句子，在这种既需要动手又需要动脑，还有分工合作的活动中，即可以最大限度的调动学生的积极性，又可以培养学生的合作能力和动手能力，让他们在学习英语中找打了去并取得全面的发展。

2、对各小组课堂表现进行打分总结，进行表扬。

本节课的主题是学习在日常生活中怎样向他人求助，或者根据自身情况，在收到求助后应该怎么回答。通过一系列贴近学生日常生活的活动，和学生亲自参与设计，完成的小情景剧，可以极大的刺激学生的学习积极性和效率，加深对所学知识的印象。

六年级学生经过前面几册的学习，已经掌握了大量的短语、句子，积累了较多的英语知识，也具有很强的英语表达能力，本课的生日准备话题，学生比较感兴趣，而且现在进行时学生也在上一模块刚刚学过，语言知识也比较简单，所以应该重点让学生多练，多运用，加强语言表达能力，运用能力。
